Extremely long variety, 25 cm (10″) on average! Orange red in color with dark green tops. Rich in vitamin A and when eaten raw, dietary fiber. Rich loose soil is best. Onion, leek and herbs such as rosemary and sage act as a repellent to the carrot fly. Sow seed directly in soil once all danger of frost has passed. Uniform soil moisture is critical.
