Growing Instructions:
- Plant seed directly into the garden or for an earlier harvest, start seed indoors 6 to 8 weeks before last frost.
- Soil should be fertile and well-draining. Soil can be enriched with compost.
- Arugula requires a consistent water supply of 2.5-5 cm (1-2") per week for optimum flavor. If soil is too dry, leaves will become too peppery and new leaves will not develop. Water when the top 2.5 cm (1") of soil feels dry. Water should be directed onto the roots of the plant and not on the leaves.
