Instructions

To Start: Place seed in jar. Cover the jar opening with cheesecloth or another fine mesh and secure with a rubber band. Rinse seed in jar with water, and drain. Refill jar with cool water and soak the seeds for 4-8 hours at room temperature out of direct sunlight. Drain water completely. Daily: Rinse seed twice a day until completely germinated to avoid mold growth. Always drain well. Munch & Crunch! When sprouts are ready to eat, store in the refrigerator in a covered container. Before eating, always rinse sprouts.

Suggestions

Allium will come back year after year with the right care. In the Spring after the Allium have finished blooming, remove the flower stalk to allow the plant to store energy for the next season. Let the leaves die back naturally. When the leaves are yellow you can remove them to make way for other plants in your garden.
