Honey and Cream Bicolor corn offers great taste by the bite! It is an exceptional variety with creamy white and yellow kernels that burst with flavor. - Companion Planting: Dill is believed to offer defence against aphids and mites. Beans can supply additional nitrogen to the corn. Sunflowers can serve as both a framework and a barrier against wind for the corn, and smaller varieties of sunflowers attract ladybugs that help control aphids. Pole beans are occasionally planted alongside corn to contribute nitrogen and provide structural support. Spinach thrives in the shade of corn, helping to keep the corn roots cool.
- Preparation Ideas: Corn is ready to harvest approximately 20 days after silk first appears on cobs. The silk turns brown and the husk will be green. Remove cobs from stalks just before eating. Remove husks and silk from corn ears. Bring water in a large pot to boil (you can add salt to the water if desired). There should be enough water in the pot to cover the ears. Using tongs, carefully insert corn into boiling water. Cover pot and let the water return to boil. Shut off heat and keep lid on pot for approximately 5 to 10 minutes. Kernels should be fork tender. Carefully remove corn from water using tongs. Cool corn slightly for handling. Eat unadorned or with butter and pepper.

- Instructions for Nutrient Care: Feed plants SUPERthrive once per week. Mix 1.2 ml (1/4 tsp) per 4L (1 gallon) of water in a watering can and apply solution to the base of the plants.
Corn does not transplant well and seeds should be sown directly into the garden when the soil is warm and all danger of frost is past into well-cultivated soil. Optimum soil temperature (not air temperature) should be 15-35°C (59-95°F) for seeds to germinate. Planting at a lower temperature will delay germination. Space seeds and plant to the depth indicated below. Press seeds into the soil to ensure good contact and cover with 5 cm (2") of soil. After planting, water seeds with a gentle mist or shower. It is critical to keep the soil consistently moist, but not soggy during germination. When your seedlings reach a height of a few centimetres (inches) and have developed 2 or 3 pairs of leaves, it is important to thin them out, according to the plant spacing indicated below. Do not allow the soil to become dry, as young plants have underdeveloped roots and can quickly dehydrate, particularly in windy conditions. Once silk appears on cobs, keep soil moist, but not soaking wet, at all times.

- Planting in a block instead of a long single row will help in pollination. Grow away from other corn varieties by 7.5 m (25') to avoid cross-pollination.
- Corn requires rich fertile soil to meet its heavy nitrogen demands. Before seeding, apply at least 2.5 cm (1") of compost to the planting area. After planting, fertilize corn when the first leaves emerge and then weekly with a kelp-based vitamin solution such as SUPERthrive.
- Applying mineral oil on the silk deters bugs.
