Good starter kit for your seeds.

"The peat pellets work well for starting your seeds, they give them a good head start , dependant on what your growing you may need a heat mat also . You also must keep an eye on the amount of water in the trays and not let the seed trays dry out . Also once the seeds have started sprouting the tops can be either removed or left ajar to let air in . The other advantage is once the plants are a descent size and ready for transplant the whole peat pot can be transplanted without disturbing the plants. Yes I would recommend."

I will always use Jiffy

"I will always use Jiffy brand from Mackenzie to start my seedlings - the pellets hold up the best by staying intact while watering. The seedlings have a higher germination rate with Jiffy. I've tried other brands to my dissatification - other brands are a poor quality of soil mix. Mackenzie also has a great price deal if you buy 5 or more! Definitely worth it!!!"
