"Amazing product!"
"Did not sprout"
"Last year I planted McKenzie Hollow Crown Parsnip seeds which I purchased at a hardware store. Planting was easy and they tasted good, however, in my area, they did not develop fully after over 120 days. Did not replant this year but will try again next year by planting much earlier in the spring to allow more time for growth. They were none the less very tasty."
"I was (very) surprised to see how easy these were to grow. I suggest everyone gives them a try. They keep so well, I trimmed off the tops only, then wrapped them in damp paper towel and put them into the coldest part of the fridge crisper in a sealed ziploc bag. We ate them well into the following year, and they give tremendous depth of flavor in soups and stews. The other thing I do with them is cook them in a bit of water/and after a few minutes, add in some carrots... When fork tender... make a tiny bit of 'sauce' with butter/ginger/salt/pepper AND brown sugar by tossing your veg mix in the butter first after draining until they are very dry, then add the other ingredients and fry for just a minute. A Xmas favorite for sure! :)"
