Sunspot sunflowers are an early flowering sunflowers with sturdy dwarf stems. Each non-branched stem produces a single giant bloom with bright yellow petals surrounding a deep golden center. These sunflowers will definitely add a nice sunspot to your garden.
After all danger of frost, sow seeds in open ground well exposed. Cover with 1 inch of soil. When plants are 4 inches tall, thin. Needs lots of water.

Instructions for Nutrient Care: Feed plants SUPERthrive once per week. Mix 1.2 ml (1/4 tsp) per 4L (1 gallon) of water in a watering can and apply solution to the base of the plants.
Suggestions
Great for backgrounds and for cut flowers. Birds will be attracted to the seeds, too. A good subject for kids' gardening.
