Suggestions
Growing Suggestions:
Avoid overwatering as this will reduce growth and flavor intensity. Tarragon dislikes conditions of high heat and sun, as well as high humidity.
It is not necessary to fertilize tarragon. Low nutrient soil provides the best flavor.
Harvest tarragon plants just before flowering. It is important to leave 2.5 cm (1") of the stem from the ground to enable new shoots to grow from of the stem. Scale back harvesting at the end of summer for the plant to store up energy for the winter.
