Plant in early spring as soon as the soil can be worked. Plant bulbs 2½ cm (1”) deep with the root end down. Space the bulbs 10 cm (4”) apart. Allow 25 - 30 cm (10 – 12”) between rows. Keep soil moist during the growing season.

1. When onions start to yellow it is almost time to harvest your onions. Bend the onion tops over to stop the onions from growing.

2. When the tops onion tops have browned loosen the soil around the onions and Pull them from the dirt. Leave the onions on the soil to dry in the sun for a couple of days weather permitting. 

3. After drying for a couple of days brush the dirt off, trim the roots and leaves.

4. Store in a cool dry place.
